Description

Adderall XR 10mg is a combinational medication containing four salts of Amphetamine. This medication is used for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder – ADHD. Acetaminophen present in this medication belongs to the family of drugs known as stimulants.

Adderall XR is a central nervous system stimulant that changes the amount of certain natural substances present in the brain. This medication, when used helps the patient by enhancing their ability to pay attention, stay focused on a task, and also control behavior.

Adderall XR tablets might also help in organizing tasks and improving listening skills. When people buy Adderall XR, they get a medication that works in the brain and nerves contributing to impulse control and hyperactivity.

Instructions
This pharmacologic treatment should be an integral part of a global treatment program that could include supportive psychological, educational or other measures.

This medication is typically used only once a day. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Take it regularly and continuously to maintain its beneficial effects.

Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. Chronic abusive use can lead to dependence.

If desired, the capsule can be opened and the contents sprinkled on soft food. The small granules, however, must NOT be chewed. This medication may be taken with or without food.

Avoid taking an antacid at the same time.

Side effects
In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:

it may decrease your appetite;
it may cause headaches;
it may cause stomach ache;
it may cause sleep disturbances or insomnia;
it may cause nausea or, rarely, vomiting;
it may cause nervousness or anxiety;
occasionally, it may cause weight loss.

Storage
As with most medications, this product should be stored at room temperature. Store it in a secure location where it will not be exposed to excessive heat, moisture or direct sunlight. Additional Information
Rarely, this product causes potentially severe reactions, mostly if taken at high doses or with some other drugs. If you experience agitation, confusion, diarrhea, fever, tremor and muscular rigidity or contractions, you should contact your doctor.

Because this medication may affect your ability to perform tasks requiring alertness, such as driving a car, it is advised to wait until you are familiar with the effects of your medication before engaging in these activities.

This medication may interact with other medications or supplements, sometimes significantly. Many interactions, however, may be dealt with by a dosage adjustment or a change in medication schedule.
